The reason of the increase (decrease) in the sales/ revenues during the current year compared to the last year | Revenues increased by 8.9% in 2024 to reach SAR 3,206 million, compared to SAR 2,943 million in the previous year, an increase of SAR 263 million, as a result of the increased operational capacity, higher performance efficiency, and continued growth in the number of visitors to the Group’s hospitals. Several factors contributed to the increase in revenues, including the continuous development of advanced medical procedures provided at Dallah Hospitals, as well as the opening of the expansion of Dallah Namar Hospital during 2024, which included a special building for clinics with 150 clinics in various specialties. Additionally, new Dallah Clinics were opened in Al Yarmouk district in Riyadh during 2024, while Makkah Medical Center achieved growth in the number of visits and inpatients as a result of the increased demand for healthcare services in the Makkah region, especially during the Hajj and Umrah seasons. |
The reason of the increase (decrease) in the net profit during the current year compared to the last year is | Net profit increased by 30.8% for 2024 to reach SAR 471 million, compared to SAR 360 million the previous year with an increase of SAR 111 million. This resulted in an increase in earnings per share by 30.6% to reach SAR 4.83/share compared to SAR 3.70/share in the previous year. This incease is due to: - Increase in revenues, which led to an increase in gross profit by 11.9% to SAR 1,207 million, compared to SAR 1,079 million in previous year, with an increase of SAR 128 million. This led to the improvement in gross margin from 36.7% in 2023 to 37.6% in the current year as a result of improved operational efficacity; - Improved performance of associate companies which resutled in profits amounting to SAR 43 million in 2024, compared to a loss of SAR 2 million last year, showing an increase of SAR 45 million. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (“EBITDA”) for 2024 increased by 19.1% to SAR 751 million, compared to SAR 630 million in the previous year, with an increase of SAR 121 million. |
